I just won the concerto competition at the Juilliard School!
This means that I will be giving my New York City concerto debut on December 7th, 2009 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. I will be performing Prokofiev's Concerto in D Major with Maestro James DePriest and the Juilliard Orchestra, and I'm thrilled have a chance to play this beautiful and imaginative piece!

Dear Friends,
October was a great month! It included performances with violinist Itzhak Perlman, pianist Gloria Chien, keyboardist/composer/conductor Anthony Newman, and the first few performances of the Avenue 9 Trio!
I also just returned from a great week of educational outreach with the LK String Quartet at Florida middle schools and elementary schools. This was the first of 3 weeks that the LK String Quartet will be spending in Florida this season in collaboration with the Perlman Music Program/Suncoast. It was a pleasure to inspire younger students to start learning to play string instruments and work with those who already do!

Dear Friends,
Yesterday marked the beginning of a series of performances I will be giving at Music@Menlo! My first performance with the LK String Quartet received a standing ovation, and I am very excited for the rest of a terrific festival celebrating the genius of Felix Mendelssohn!
