WindFire Technology to Deliver Enterprise Information Management Application Suite

January 1, 2001 - San Diego, CA—WindFire Technology today announced its plans to provide an integrated suite of applications designed to address enterprise information management (EIM). Comprising enterprise content management, business process management and virtual repository management technologies, WindFire's technology suite will help companies create, manage, and integrate structured and unstructured data within a single, platform-independent solution.

Based on a scalable J2EE and XML-based architecture, the company's applications simplify the complexities inherent in managing and integrating structured with unstructured enterprise data. The WindFire solution will be integrated and modular, enabling staged deployment with low capital risks.

WindFire will target its EIM suite to in-house developers, independent software vendors, and systems integrators. The technology can be easily embedded into existing business applications, thereby "EIM-enabling" current business processes. This approach minimizes deployment time and costs and allows the customer to embed only those capabilities that are needed.

WindFire will release its EIM suite in stages, beginning in Q3 2001.
