WindFire Announces Xtorm® Enterprise Information Management (EIM) v3.10
Integration interface provides powerful link for high-volume information management
August 30, 2004 - San Diego, CA—WindFire Technology today announced the availability of
Xtorm®
Enterprise Information Management (EIM) version 3.1, a fully
scalable and embeddable J2EE-based
solution for organizations looking to manage safely their
enterprise information resources, business processes and
enterprise content. Xtorm EIM is comprised of applications
for data and content integration, business process
management and content management, including document
imaging, document management, and hierarchical storage
management.
The Xtorm EIM solution is
based on the Xtorm Virtual Information Framework (VIF),
which is an extensible, modular framework for the management
of information. The Xtorm VIF is the foundation for the
Virtual Repository Management, or the ability to access,
manage, integrate and secure any information--structured,
semi-structured, and unstructured--bi-directionally, in real
time, and on demand.
Embodying true enterprise
information management
functionality, Xtorm can access and manage other applications'
data and
processes into a seamless automated business process. "Xtorm
provides a scalable, reliable, and secure means of creating
true service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions," said WindFire CEO
Maurice Correa, "which means it's much faster to deploy,
easier to maintain and support, and
yields a higher ROI. And by taking advantage of the
Virtual Repository Management capabilities of the
product, you will quickly connect disparate information
sources across your enterprise to drive end-to-end business process
automation."
